Cabinet Materials:

Our cabinets are made out of 5/8″ particle board with a solid back. 

Doors Materials:

Painted MDF, Thermofoil MDF,  Acrylic Panels 

Countertop Materials:

Quartz, Granite

All kitchen cabinets require care and cleaning to maintain there condition and appearance. We recommend the following procedure to clean your cabinets safely. These steps apply to all door styles and finishes. (Painted, Thermofoil)

Cleaning Procedure:

* Wipe down the cabinets with a damp rag to remove dust and surface grime.
* Use warm water and diluted all-purpose cleaner or dish soap.
* Try a homemade mix of a 50/50 solution of vinegar and warm water
* Rub the damp cloth on your cabinets in a circular motion, repeating until the grime is gone.
* Take a second microfiber cloth and rinse the surface with clean water.
* In a circular motion, be sure to remove all soapy residue.
* Do not use ammonia or ammonia based cleaner
* Try not to use harsh abrasives such as steel wool, scouring pads or detergents
* Cleaning agents should be applied to a cloth, not directly sprayed or applied to cabinetry

Self Cleaning Ovens:

* Self cleaning ovens generate immense heat, resulting in potential damage to any cabinetry
* We recommend removing all adjacent doors or drawers prior to using the self clean function, the drawers can be easily removed by either lifting up and out, or using the release mechanism at the bottom of the drawer box, the doors can released by pushing forward on the small knob at the back of the hinge.

Heat Producing Appliances:

* Avoid mounting small appliances (i.e coffee makers & toaster ovens) beneath cabinets, as excess heat & moisture can damage cabinets.
* Stovetop heights should be adjusted to sit 1/2″ above the countertop as to avoid damage from heat radiating from the element.

If a fault is found in any of our cabinets or doors within five years of manufacture, we will replace the faulty part or door.  This includes premature yellowing, de-laminating of foil and or any defects in workmanship or materials.

* 2 year warranty on accessories

* 5 year warranty on doors

* 10 year warranty on hinges, handles, knobs and drawer slides

Limitations:

1.  The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the cabinets.

2.  Only cabinetry, doors and hardware are covered by the warranty.  We cannot be responsible for the work of any third party installers.

3.  The product warranty applies to residential, domestic use cabinets only- not commercial applications.

4.  Arima Kitchens will replace the faulty part only.

5.  We will pay 100% of any transport costs to get the replacement parts to customers and repair work of the faulty parts.

6. Water damage, heat damage, staining, scratches, dents and regular wear and tear is not covered by warranty– only defective parts.

Wood finishes:

Wood varies in colour and shading; it may show irregular mineral streaking that occurs as the tree grows.  While every effort is made to sort out incompatible pieces of wood. these natural variations are considered inherently beautiful characteristics and are not to be construed as defects.

These variations will occur throughout your kitchen – on adjacent doors and drawers, on panels and mouldings.

Arima Kitchens wishes to inform customers of these potential variations and of the possibility, that by selecting a kitchen style/colour from a small sample or colour chip, the result may be something not anticipated.

Because of varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels, wood is in a constant state of expansion and contraction.  Slight hairline cracks appear where joints are made.  These cracks do not weaken the finish nor the product structure whatsoever.  This hairline cracking is not to be considered a defect.
